Tree Planting Days – Updates

Green Projects officer Chris Bibb at Lewes District Council has helped win a bid for new trees to be planted at Beechwood Hall & Rural Park. Chris kindly coordinated volunteers from South Downs National Park and Lewes Arboretum together with a few hard working Hamsey parish residents last Sunday. All of the amazing volunteers worked hard and managed to plant 100 trees around the park! The new trees look fantastic, and we look forward to seeing them grow. Hamsey Parish Council and hall trustees wish to thank everyone who came and helped on the day.

There will be a final tree planting day tomorrow Sunday 29th January at Golden Horn Farm, Deadmantree Hill, at 11am. Bring a spade if you have one! All welcome.
